![]() Is it a traditional Western RPG type, or something else? That post I linked in it, would be a good place to start.Ĭurious, what makes Runescape fun? I seem to hear from a lot of people playing it, but never asked them why. It was the one regarding 'posting errors'. I did link a post that I typed up about it, on another thread of yours. Might I be able to convince you to have a look at RuneScape? lol. However, it is without a doubt wonderful for interface customisation. It has a rather cartoony artstyle, with a lot of textures being low resolution. If you're going in looking at graphics, then WoW is definitely not going to be a great choice. However, it's far, far less popular than MineCraft and I believe (likely biased) that even RuneScape has more players than it. People still play WoW, and no it's not dead. They're both sorta direct competitors, with both being two of the oldest actively updated MMOs on the planet. As an addict of the MMO called 'RuneScape', I doubt I am the right person to be talking about WoW. That said, a lot of MMOs are struggling to retain a playerbase. WoW went f2p like ESO did, and from what I understand, WoW's playerbase has taken a huge hit. The majority of what I know about WoW is via proxy, but I have played it in the past.
